Baptism Pictures... finally!

We have two holy little girls now. We baptized Kelly on August 9, 2009.

Miss Alexandra (Mommy's college friend) is her Godmother and Uncle Mike (Daddy's brother) is her Godfather.

Deacon Ray performed the sacrament again at St. John's...

She liked the water!

...and then we went back to our house to celebrate.

We celebrated Kelly-Belly's special day as well as the slew of July and August birthday's. In our sweet tooth world, two celebrations=two cakes. (Can I get an amen?)

We had a nice full house for the weekend and our girls got to spend lots of time with their extended family.

(Kelly was sleeping, but here's Shannon with her 2 grandmas and 3 great-grandmas.)

Thank you to everyone who traveled, helped us get ready, brought food, and sent cards & presents. You made the day special!

At first glance I thought "hey I have seen these pictures already" then I remembered I had stolen a glance at them on your camera in Vegas! Beautiful "holy" girls, little angels. Congrats!

So nice. Is that the same dress Shannon wore?

Yep, that's the same dress that S wore, made from material from my wedding dress.

Shannon wore it at 3 months and it fit Kelly just fine at 5 months. She isn't the chubkins her sister was!
