Playing on her activity mat has become part of Shannon's routine. She loves her tummy time and is getting good at moving her head around.

Cool at the Pool

It was a hot, sticky Saturday so we jumped at the chance to spend it with "Uncle" Marty at his parents' pool.

Shannon and Mom were shade-only, land-only participants this time. Can't wait until she's a little older when we venture out into the water!

One Month Old

Happy one-month birthday, Shannon!

Just to give you an idea of how much she has been growing, I've been taking pictures of her with her cuddly elephant. (Thank you, Amy, for this great idea... hope you don't mind that I'm stealing it!)

Splish Splash

Shannon loves taking baths!

We were all geared up to battle a screaming-when-naked baby, but since we upgraded to tub baths (once her cord fell off) bathtime has become fun. She will just lay on her little sling and and happily let us soap her up and hose her down.

Chunky Monkey

Well, we've been saying that she's been eating like a champ and this week's doctor's appointment confirmed it: Shannon is now weighing in at 10 pounds!


She also grew an inch and is sporting a belly button instead of a umbilical cord. Our little girl is growing up so fast!
