Ballet BFFs

What's better than your very first ballet class?

Your very first ballet class with your BFF.

Shannon and Natalie are taking a ballet/tap class at the Y this session and it is definitely a weekly highlight (for the girls and the mommies & daddies).

There's a rumor that they might even have an official recital. And if there is, I promise video. Until then, there will just be lots and lots of photos.

Merry Christmas!: Part 2 (Cleveland Trip)

After a few (too short!) days of relaxing at home, we packed everyone up and headed to Cleveland for a visit at Grammy and Papa's house.

We came prepared to play in the snow. And sure did!

Walking up to the Green

Snow football (my girls love to tackle)

Our big, big snowman!

We had a pretty wild New Year's Eve pajama party.

Pretty sad when you Grandma & Great Aunt party later than you.

But then, again... these ladies are pretty special.

And we celebrated New Year's Day with the Nally's. Shannon decked everyone out with stickers...

...found another book lover in Aunt Teri to help her devour the massive stack of Berenstain Bear books my mom has kept...

...and Kelly discovered pie. (Which she called "cupcakes" as she does all dessert)

Merry Christmas!: Part 1 (Christmas Eve and Morning)

Finally getting around to posting our pictures from Christmas. Here's Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Our fancy girls on Christmas Eve.

The official family shot.

Grandpa and the world's classiest game of Hi Ho Cherry-o.

Christmas morning: matching jammies! (Yep, Mommy can still fit into kid's sizes so she got a pair too.)

Santa delivered. She wanted a "mouse and a computer and a princess game."

Kelly learning to play harmonica. We've heard a lot of harmonica.

Snuggling with their new loot.

Later that day the McGee family came over. The highlight was definitely the first annual cousin's Christmas pageant. There was a big dispute over who would be Mary, the donkey was a huge stuffed turtle, two performances took place with cast members coming and going in each rendition and the total "on stage" time was about 3 minutes (remembering, that this included two performances).

Stayed tuned for a snowy week at home and a trip to Cleveland for New Year's.
